The International Brotherhood of Teamsters and United Steelworkers each sent a new round of letters to Congress recently blasting the pending Free Trade Agreements with South Korea, Panama and Colombia. The AFL-CIO, United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Building and Construction Trades, National Farmers Union, Friends of the Earth and Sierra Club have since followed suit with their own new letters.
Dozens of national labor, environmental, family farm, consumer, faith and human rights organizations have spoken out against these NAFTA-style trade pacts and the harm they would cause at home and abroad if enacted.
